A Bosanquet Township woman is facing impaired driving charges after a crash on Valentine’s Day.
Lambton OPP officials say on February 14, 2017 at approximately 8 p.m. members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted by a concerned motorist as to a pick-up truck being driven in an erratic manner on Nauvoo Road at Townsend Line in Bosanquet Township.
As the OPP responded, the pick-up truck left the roadway and crashed into an open field.
Due to the collision, the driver and three passengers were injured.
All of the occupants required medical attention.
In fact, one of the passengers was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
The OPP West Region Traffic Unit and Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to investigate.
As a result of the continued OPP investigation, a 27-year-old Bosanquet Township woman was arrested and charged for allegedly commit impaired driving – cause bodily harm, exceed 80 milligrams of alcohol- cause bodily harm and drive- no license.
She must appear at the Sarnia Court House on March 13, 2017 in order to answer to the charges.
