Poor road conditions played a role in a crash on the 401 in Chatham-Kent on Monday.
Police officials say on March 13, at around 1:15 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Duart Road.
Investigation revealed, due to road conditions, a westbound Ford Focus lost control travelled through the centre median and struck an eastbound Hyundai Santa Fe. Three people in the Santa Fe were transported to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency crews attended and Highway 401 westbound was temporarily closed in order to accommodate emergency crews and for the safe removal of the vehicle.
