One of the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s ‘Most Wanted’ suspects was arrested in Wallaceburg on Monday night.
Police officials say just before 9 p.m. a woman was observed by a citizen sitting in the Tim Hortons on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg and police were called.
The woman had been listed on the Chatham-Kent Police Service ‘Most Wanted’ list due to outstanding warrants for her arrest.
The 33-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where she has been held for bail.
Another ‘Most Wanted’ suspect was arrested on Monday as well.
Police officials say at 10:20 a.m. a man turned himself in to police.
He had been listed on the Chatham-Kent Police Service ‘Most Wanted’ list due to outstanding warrants for his arrest.
A 24-year-old Blenheim man was arrested on the warrants.
He was then released with a court date of Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
