The Mudmen playing at the Museum tonight
The Mudmen are returning to Wallaceburg this evening for a LIVE concert on ‘The Old Plaid Tour’. The show will be held in the Jeanne Gordon Hall, above the Wallaceburg and District Museum. This local band, who started in Petrolia, are suree to entertain and delight the crowd with an evening of Celtic music. Tickets are available at the Museum and are $20 per person.
Wallaceburg Skating show on Saturday
The Wallaceburg Skating Club is holding their annual skating carnival on Saturday, April 1 at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena. The show starts at 4 p.m. Admission to show is $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 4-10, and FREE for children three and under. Tickets will be available at the door. Programs will be available for purchase as well as flowers.
Dresden Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and Banquet on Saturday
Tickets are still available for the Dresden Sports Hall of Fame dinner and induction ceremony being held on Saturday, April 1 in the Lambton-Kent Composite School auditorium. The event will run on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Dinner is catered by Burns’ Family Restaurant and doors open at 5 p.m. Cost is $40 for adults and $20 for kids. Splash Pad group holding trivia night
The Wallaceburg Splash Pad committee is holding a trivia night coming up on Saturday, April 1. Cost is $25 per person, and you need to have a team of eight people, for a total cost of $200 to participate. The event will be held at the CBD Club in Wallaceburg and the doors open at 8 p.m. To book your ticket, call Judy Bachus at 519-627 8534. 2nd round of qualifying for the Jr. Star Search
The fun will continue on Sunday, April 2 starting at 2 p.m. for the second and final qualifying round in the Basso’s No Frills Junior Star Search at The CBD Club in Wallaceburg. There are two categories: 11 to 14 and 15-18. Cash prizes will be given away to the top three singers in each category thanks to sponsors: Basso’s No Frills, The Glass Guru, The CBD Club and CKXS. Even if you are not a singer, it is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon watching great talent. There is no cost to watch and support the youth, many from the local community and others from out-of-town.
