Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt in Dresden

The Dresden Kinsmen Club will be holding their annual Easter egg hunt at Kinsmen Park on Friday, April 14.

“The hunt starts at 1 p.m. sharp and it is usually done by 1:01 p.m.,” Mike Taylor, Dresden Kinsmen member and the event organizer, told the Sydenham Current.

“So there is quite a few children that participate. People start arriving around 12:30 p.m., some as early as 12 p.m. There is plenty of candy to go around. No one will leave with an empty basket that is for sure.”

The event will be held, as always, at the Kinsmen Park baseball field and there is no cost for kids to participate.

“There is four age categories… zero to three, four to six, seven to nine and 10 to 12. They are just in different areas,” Taylor said, adding that everything is pretty much the same as in years past.

“Just come out, have fun and fill your baskets.”
