Police looking to ID robbery suspect

Sarnia Police are investigating after a robbery at a local gas bar.

Police officials say on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at approximately 12:05 a.m. , the Sarnia Police Service General Patrol Officers responded to a robbery at the Pioneer Gas Bar located in the 1000 block of Murphy Road in the City of Sarnia.

According to the witness, a lone male entered the business wearing a black mask that covered his face and all that was visible was the suspect’s eyes.

The suspect was wearing a three-quarter length green coat with a hood, dark pants, black boots and a black duffel-type bag.

The suspect threatened the victim and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The suspect then left the gas bar and fortunately no one was injured.
