A man was sent to the hospital on Sunday night after an altercation with his daughter’s boyfriend in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say last night around 10:30 p.m. a man and his girlfriend’s father became involved in a verbal argument that allegedly escalated into a physical altercation while at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Police allege the man assaulted the father, which required him to be transported by ambulance to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical treatment.
The 29-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm.
He was released with conditions pending a future court date of June 6, 2017.
