Environment Canada has issued special weather statement, as shower and thunderstorm activity may affect extreme southwestern Ontario overnight into Saturday morning.

Forecasters say at this point it appears that the heaviest rainfall will remain west of the region in Lower Michigan.
However, if the activity ends up moving farther east than currently expected, portions of southwestern Ontario may see significant rainfall amounts possibly exceeding 30 millimetres.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor the situation and update this bulletin as new information becomes available.
