Update: Charge laid after crash outside Wallaceburg

A ticket has been handed out after a two-vehicle crash outside of Wallaceburg on Monday.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say a two-vehicle collision occurred on Monday, July 31, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Forhan Street and Langstaff Line.

One of the drivers, a 67-year-old Sombra man, was given a ticket for disobeying a stop sign and failing to stop.

A 51-year-old Sombra woman was driving the other vehicle involved.

Both drivers were transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries.

Damage was not specified by the investigating officer, police officials say.
