A crash on Highway 78, between Dresden and Wallaceburg, has sent three people to hospital.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Saturday, September 16 at approximately 12:40 a.m. a single motor vehicle had been travelling in a west bound direction on McCreary Line.

Police allege that the tires left the roadway and hit the gravel shoulder on the ‘S’ bend at Mandaumin Road and rolled over.

The driver was ejected from the vehicle and landed a short distance away, police officials said.

The 19-year-old male driver suffered a head injury and was taken to Sydenham District Hospital initially and then transferred to Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor.

The two passengers were taken to the hospital for less severe injuries, police officials said.

The investigation remains on-going.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Ron Tricker at ront@chatham-kent.ca or at 519-436-6600 extension #81784.
