Police looking to ID alleged gas thief

Police are looking to identify an alleged gas thief in Tilbury.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Sunday, September 24, at 9:30 p.m. an unknown male suspect attended the 18 Wheeler Truck Stop Restaurant at 3613 Queen’s Line in Tilbury.

Police say after pumping $80 of worth of gas into a blue-coloured Chevrolet SUV, he entered the store, but allegedly did not pay for the gas.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an attempt to identify the suspect.
