Lawnmowers & BBQ stolen in Thamesville

Police are investigating after multiple items, including a riding lawn mower, were stolen in Thamesville.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say sometime during the week of September 16 and 21 unknown suspects forced their way into a Groves Mill Line home in Thamesville.

“Evidence at the home revealed that a pickup truck was driven through the neighbouring field onto the rear of the property,” Crime Stoppers officials said.

“The thieves made off with a riding lawnmower, a push mower, a barbecue, but were unsuccessful in their attempted to take the television off of the wall. Total value of the theft is over $2,500. Crime Stoppers is seeking your anonymous information that could lead to the arrest or location of the persons responsible.”
