Intoxicated in public at Wallaceburg’s hospital

A Wallaceburg man faces charges after an incident at the Sydenham Campus on the weekend.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Saturday, November 25, officers were dispatched to attend Wallaceburg’s hospital.

Police allege a 60-year-old Wallaceburg man became uncooperative with hospital staff, and was found to be in an intoxicated state.

The man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held till sober.
