Police looking to ID alleged gas thief in Tilbury

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for the public’s help to identify an alleged gas thief in Tilbury.

Police officials say early this morning at 3 a.m. an unknown woman attended the Mac’s Convenience Store gas bar on Queen Street in Tilbury.

She pumped $50 worth of gas into the dark blue Dodge Caravan she was driving and then allegedly drove off without paying, police officials say.

The woman was wearing a black winter coat with fur around the hood, dark maroon leggings, red Canada Hudson Bay mittens and purple running shoes.
