Mr. Gerald Momney, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Parkwood Hospital, in London, at the age of 97.
Gerald was born in Windsor, Ontario and was a son of the late Fred and Elsie (Trembley) Momney.Beloved husband of the late Helen Momney (2011). Loving father of Jerry Momney (the late Kathy Momney, 1993), Joanne McKim (the late Lorne McKim, 2011), Sue & Bill Huff, Mike (the lateTrish) Momney, Marg & Mike Houle, Donna & Tim Hill, Bob & Carol Momney, Roger & Lori Momney, and Terry & Darlene Momney. Sadly missed by 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Alfred, and his sisters Beatrice and Margaret.Survived by a sister-in-law Ruby Davis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow visitation on Thursday at 12 noon from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
