Three upcoming events at the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre

The Wallaceburg Wellness Centre is holding a series of events and workshops at their 222 Wellington Street location in the coming weeks, focused on improving one’s mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Introduction to Emotional Freedom Technique – Saturday, March 10 at 12:30 p.m.

The Wallaceburg Wellness Centre and FreeSpirit Personal Wellness are teaming up to bring a fun and informative introduction to Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT.

EFT or Tapping, is very easy to learn, and will help people improve issues such as:

– Implementing positive goals

– Removing negative emotions, anxiety and stress

– Guilt or remorse

– Reducing food cravings

– Reducing or eliminate pain

– And much more

Organizers say EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the invasiveness of needles.

Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kineticenergy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem – whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. and voice positive affirmations.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the ‘short-circuit’ or the ‘emotional block’ from your body’s bio-electrical system, thus restoring your mind and body’s balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease, organizers say.

Cost is $20/person and registration is required.

The facilitator will be Erin Thomas, CHt, Reiki Master Shinpiden Shihan.

The Bars® – March 24, 9 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

The first class in Access Consciousness is The Bars®.

Organizers say there are 32 points on your head which contain all the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and considerations that you have stored in any lifetime.

When gently touched, these points can effortlessly and easily release anything that doesn’t allow you to receive.

It’s like hitting the delete button on your computer.

All of the thoughts, feelings and emotions that keep you stuck, that keep you repeating the same patterns in your life over and over again, are released.

This is an opportunity for you to let go of everything.

Thousands of people have used the Access Bars to change many aspects of their body and their life including sleep, health and weight, money, sex and relationships, anxiety, stress and so much more.

At worst you will feel like you have just had a phenomenal massage.

At best your whole life can change into something greater with total ease.

Taking the Access Bars class is a prerequisite for all Access Consciousness® Core Classes as it allows your body to process and receive the changes you are choosing with ease.

This class is a one-day hands-on class in which participants learn the Bars points and participate in gifting two Bars sessions and receiving two Bars sessions.

Questions that are often addressed in class include:

– What are the Bars?

– How can I tell if the Bars are running?

– How do I find the Bars Points?

– What does running Bars change?

You can also ask any questions.

Each class is co-created with everyone that chooses to come to that particular class.

Cost is $350.
