A shoplifting complaint in Wallaceburg has led to an arrest.
Police officials say on August 24, 2017 a man was charged with theft under $5,000 and being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000 in regards to a shoplifting complaint in Wallaceburg.
A warrant was later issued for his arrest in relation to these offences.
On March 20, 2018 the man was located by another police service and arrested on our outstanding warrant.
The accused was later turned over to CKPS on the above warrant.
A 29-year-old Walpole Island man was released pending a future court date of April 17, 2018.
