Chatham-Kent OPP officials say on March 26, 2018, around 4:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to a downed hydro wire on Highway 401 near Communication Road.
Police say the wire was lying across both lanes of the highway.
Highway 401, in both directions, was closed for approximately six hours to allow for hydro crews to repair the line.
