The Wallaceburg Ice Angels had a successful showing on Saturday, March 24 at the Deveau/Winfield Synchronized Skating Invitational held in Amherstburg.
The Wallaceburg Skating Club’s Beginner 1 team finished in third place out of 11 teams to capture bronze ribbons.

Team members, include: Jillian Anderson, Denisha Atoe, Brooklyn Bennett, Hayley Clarke, Abigail Coffin, Sophia Ferreira, Leela McLaughlin, Rebecca McLaughlin, Erica Fields, Sunny Gamble, Daylia Hall, Christa Konola, Sophie Konola, Kylee Mahoney, Sadie Martin and Juliet Osborne.
The team is coached by Cathy Shaw and the team managers are Kylie Coffin and Tracy McLaughlin.
The club’s senior team also took part in the competition, which features teams from all across the province.
Team members, include: Stephanie Brown, Elena Dratva, Laura Jane Eagleson, Morissa Ewing, Aislyn King, Abbigail O’Brien, Sophie Marvell, Kayla Waller and Abbey Knight.
The senior’s are also coached by Cathy Shaw and they are managed by Sandra Evoy.
