Autograph session held following Red Devils win over North Stars

The Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse club invited their fans onto the arena floor on Saturday night for a meet and greet and autograph session.

Before the festivities took place, the Red Devils took care of business against the Owen Sound North Stars.

Wallaceburg dominated the Owen Sound club in a 14-4 victory, their fourth straight win.

Goalie Brayden Bell was named the first star of the game, as he stopped 49 shots for the victory.

Vern Hill led the offence with 4 goals and 1 assist.

Tyler Brown chipped in with 3 goals and 2 assists, while Tanner Cole scored twice for Wallaceburg. Kyle Dawson added 1 goals and 3 assists, Carter Hastings had 1 goal and 2 assists.

Brock Daugherty, Owen Martin and Aaron Underwood all scored single goals for Wallaceburg. Marshall Powless chipped in with 3 assists.

A total of 320 people packed into Wallaceburg Memorial Arena for the game.

The Red Devils are now 5-1 on the season, good for first place in the Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League’s Far West Division, two points ahead of their rival Windsor Clippers.

Wallaceburg will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they host the Guelph Regals at 3 p.m.
