Man crashes stolen dirt bike in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service official allege that a man crashed a stolen dirt bike in Wallaceburg on the weekend.

Police say on June 2, 2018 officers attended a McNaughton Ave. address in Wallaceburg in regards to a collision involving a dirt bike.

The driver had minor injuries and the dirt bike was found to be stolen, police say.

The man was arrested for being in possession of stolen property and through further investigation it was discovered that the man was also had a warrant for his arrest from Lambton OPP.

The male was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing.
