The Sombra Township Optimist Club will be hosting their 14th Annual Car Show at beautiful Brander Park on the St. Clair River in Port Lambton, Ontario on Saturday, June 16, between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Optimist Car Show features numerous classic and late model vehicles.
The Optimists will have a food booth, a licensed refreshment tent with a live band, vendors, door prizes and a penny table.
For the children, we have Soapbox Races with registration at 9 a.m. and practice runs starting at 10 a.m.
Dotsy the Clown will be on hand from noon to 2 p.m. to do face painting and the splash pad will be open too.
There is no pre-registration for those displaying their vehicles.
An easy format has been adopted to get those displaying their vehicles in quickly and parked. Registration ($10 per vehicle, $5 for a second vehicle) will only occur on the day of the event.
Spectators are free.
