Breached conditions in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on March 8, 2018 a man was released from Court with several conditions.

Two of those conditions stated that he was to reside at a specific address in Wallaceburg and remain in his residence unless in the presence of his surety.

Police allege on June 11, 2018 police responded to a disturbance involving the man in Wallaceburg.

Through investigation, police learned that the man was not living at the address ordered by the Court and that he was currently not with his surety.

The man fled the area prior to police arrival.

Early on Thursday morning, June 14, police located the man and he was arrested.

The 28-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with two counts of failing to comply.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
