Tools stolen in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege sometime between Tuesday, June 12 at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. unknown suspects entered a garage on Shawnee Trail and stole various tools and a bicycle.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,600.

Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

In a separate incident, sometime on Wednesday between midnight and 5:45 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a building under construction on King Street and stole approximately $5,000 worth of tools.

Damage was estimated at $500.
