CKHA adds diagnostic radiologist to their team

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has announces the addition of Dr. Terence Menezes, Diagnostic Radiologist, to CKHA’s Radiology Department.

“Dr. Menezes is joining a Radiology Department that is committed to providing CKHA’s patients with quality care using state of the art imaging technology,” says Dr. Pervez Faruqi, Chief of Staff, CKHA. “As a new physician, Dr. Menezes’ passion for the profession and talents will be well placed within the department.”

Starting at CKHA in early July, Dr. Menezes is originally from Mississauga, Ontario. He attended Western University in London, Ontario, where he received his Bachelor of Medical Sciences in 2007. He then studied at Saba University School of Medicine, one of the world’s leading international medical schools, from 2008 to 2012, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Menezes completed one year of Medical Residency at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health, in Cincinnati, Ohio, before completing his training as a Radiology Resident at the Albany Medical Centre in New York over the next four years. He recently completed a yearlong Cross-Sectional Fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton.

Dr. Menezes is licensed with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Radiology. He holds memberships with the Ontario Association of Radiologists, Canadian Association of Radiologists, American Medical Association, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, the American Board of Radiology, as well as Radiologists Without Boarders. In addition to his professional duties, Dr. Menezes is currently researching the role of Dynamic Contract Enhanced (DCE) imaging in prostate MRIs with pathology correlation.
