Madison Broad medals at Canadian Swimming Trials

Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad took home some hardware after competing in the Canadian Swimming Trials in Edmonton last month.

The 17-year-old captured a bronze medal in the 100 metre back stroke event with a personal best time of 1:00.63.

Competing in the same race was Canadian Olympian Kylee Masse.

Broad also placed fifth in the 200 metre back stroke event with a time of 2:12.90.

She also placed 31st in the 200 metre IM event.
