Domestic incident leads to charges in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on Sundah afternoon, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Wallaceburg.

Upon removing belongings from the woman’s home, an argument began.

As the man left, the woman closed and locked the door behind him.

The man returned and forced the door open, causing about $200 damage.

Once inside the residence, the man assaulted the woman.

The 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with break and enter.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
