Crash leads to impaired driving charges in Dover

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before 4 a.m. this morning, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Pain Court Line and Bearline Road in Dover Township.

Through investigation, police believed the man was driving under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.

He was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

The 30-year-old Thamesville man has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.

He will be released when sober pending a future court date of December 5, 2018.
