Theft investigation at Rondeau Provincial Park

Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: On November 15, 2018, Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break, enter and theft complaint at Rondeau Provincial Park.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that in the early morning hours of November 15, 2018, unknown persons entered a maintenance building and removed the following property:

– A John Deere 2014 6 x 4 Gator described as green and yellow in color, and

– A 2003 Honda TE2 Quad Ontario Licence 67CZ6 described as green in color.

Video surveillance captured four youths walking into the Park around 1:30 a.m., however, no persons or motor vehicles that would accommodate these machines were seen leaving the park.
