Santa Claus came to Walpole Island on Saturday, December 1 for the 27th annual Santa Claus Parade.
This year’s theme was ‘A Superheroes Christmas’, which allowed for many creative floats and costumes.
The parade route moved from the Walpole Island school, to the Walpole Island Arena & Sports Complex, much to the delight of the children and families gathered along the route.
Following the parade, everyone was invited to join Santa at the Walpole Island Community Centre, for soup, cookies and hot chocolate.
In addition, there were candy bags handed out to children under 12, along with raffles to be won.
