Downtown Dresden was packed on Saturday night, December 8, for the Christmas Night Market and the Dresden Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade.
Organizers from both of the events were thrilled with the outcome.
A huge thank you from the Dresden Night Market Team and volunteers! Many more should be in this picture because it takes a whole community to put on an event like this. Thanks for helping make my crazy ideas a reality!! pic.twitter.com/QSDJx4ccrT

“Thank you to all the participants who braved the cold last night,” the Kinsmen Clucb posted on social media.
“Santa made his appearance and warmed the crowds.”
The community took to social media as well during and after both events:

We ended the evening at the Dresden Night Market which was incredible. There had to be at least 1000 people in Dresden’s downtown, shopping, dining, admiring the ice sculptures and various attractions. I would love to see events like this replicated across CK. pic.twitter.com/rmXcRFaaz8
