Municipal officials say record cold temperatures are causing mechanical issues with trucks used for garbage and recycling pickup and may result in some delays.
Residents are asked to please leave their garbage/recycling at the curb and it will be picked up as soon as possible.
An extreme cold weather warning remains in place across the region.
