Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Monday at 2:30 p.m. and yesterday at 9:30 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into The Crappie Store on Metcalfe Street by damaging the storefront window, causing about $1,000 damage.
Once inside, the suspects stole:
– .22 cal Savage 22 Mark II bolt action rifle – model 26800
– 12 gauge Remington Express Supermag pump action shotgun – model 870
– 30 ought 6 Savage Axis XP bolt action rifle with Weaver scope – model S1924
– Box of Winchester .22 cal ammunition – 100 rounds
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,700.
