Police: Critical injuries following crash, breach of peace

Intoxicated in a public place

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 5:20 a.m. on May 25, in the Raleigh St. area of Chatham, police responded to a disturbance outside of a residence.

A 27-year-old male was located intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

He was arrested for being intoxicated in public and later released.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Thamesville

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:32 p.m., police responded to a three vehicle collision on Industrial Road, just outside of Thamesville.

Due to the severity of injuries sustained to one involved party, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit was called in to investigate this collision.

One party remains in critical condition at London Health Science Centre.

Total damage is estimated $15,000.

At this time names will not be released of any of the involved parties.

Breach of the peace in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly before 10 p.m., police received a report of a 38-year-old male in the Wallaceburg Walmart parking lot acting suspicious and waving a 2×4 in the air.

The male was uncooperative with police and was arrested for Breach of the
Peace.

No injuries or assaults reported.

Breach of probation in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 4 a.m. on May 26, as a result of a person stop on Colborne St., Chatham, a 39-year-old male was arrested for breaching his curfew and other probation conditions.

The male was held pending a bail hearing.
