The Parry Bridge on Keil Drive in Chatham will have two lanes of traffic closed intermittently starting July 4, 2019 until July 18, 2019.
Chris Thibert, the director of engineering and transportation for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, said these lane restrictions will permit warranty work and recent bridge deck grating damage to be repaired.
“The cause of the deck damage is unknown at this time but was confirmed to not have impacted the structural integrity of the bridge,” Thibert said in a press release.
One lane of traffic in both directions will remain open during this time, Thibert added.
In addition, one sidewalk at a time will require closure intermittently.
