Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a man who was known to have a warrant for failing to attend court.

The 35-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

The man was later released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol located a man at a residence in Chatham and the man was known to have a warrant for failing to attend court/fingerprints.

The 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released at the residence with a future court date.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham attempted to stop a man riding a bike in the area of Thames and Fifth Street.

The man fled on the bicycle.

The 47-year-old Chatham man was located after a short foot pursuit and arrested for fail to stop (HTA), possession of controlled drugs, resisting arrest and was also found to have a warrant for assault and mischief x 2.

The man was transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning an officer on general patrol located a man in the area of Lacroix and Harvey Street in Chatham.

The man was known to have a warrant for failing to attend court.

The 42-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

The man was later released with a future court date.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police responded to a break and enter at a residence in Pain Court.

It is unknown how the suspect entered the residence or if anything was taken.

This investigation is ongoing.

There are currently no suspects.

Man charged with break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police responded to an alarm at a business on Riverview Drive in Chatham.

A man was located near the business carrying a duffle bag full of stolen property.

A 28-year-old man from Chatham was arrested and charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

He was transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
