David Clements of Wallaceburg

David Ellis Clements a resident of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully Thursday, August, 15, 2019 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 68. Born in Chatham, son of the late Clarence and Winnifred (Ellis) Clements. Beloved husband of Laura Massey.

David worked at Oxford Automotive in Wallaceburg for 27 years. Most recently he loved working part time at the Goodwill Industries depot in Wallaceburg.

Dave is survived by his sons William Daniel Clements of Sarnia and his children Ashley, Brittany, Amanda, Danny, Clinton and Shayna; Christopher Clements and wife Karissa of London and their children Averie and Liam. Daughters Melissa (Clements) and husband Clarance Fields of Wallaceburg and their children Caden, Kyra, Quinlan, Makenna; Katie Clements and partner Don Brissette of Tupperville and their children Olivia Kate and Myah Joyce; Jamie Kay Clements of Wallaceburg and her daughter Cali Kay; 5 great grandchildren and a brother Ron Clements and wife Linda (Clark). Predeceased by brother Gary, sister Burnice and half brothers Doug, Clare and Norman.

Family and friends were received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St., Dresden on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 p.m. Interment at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

“David’s recent cancer journey was remarkable while his courage, strength, and resolve unequalled. He truly enjoyed the life he kept living, always making time for family, friends and neighbours. He was a fine man, full of love and kindness. He will be missed.”
