Catherine Boyle’s family says ‘thank-you’

The family of Catherine Boyle are thanking the community and the Chatham-Kent Police Service during their time of grief.

“The Miller family Would like to acknowledge all of our wonderful divisions of Chatham Kent Police services in finding our loving family member CJ Boyle (on Thursday),” Boyle’s family said in a message sent to the Sydenham Current.

“A special thank you to Constable Dan Hamilton and Constable Rob Bowles in their heartfelt care in our time of sorrow. Cathy will be missed by our family and her family.”

The body of Boyle, who had been missing for over a week, was recovered from the Sydenham River near Tupperville on Thursday, along with her vehicle.

A post-mortem had been scheduled for Friday in London, police officials say.
