After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Howie passed peacefully at Chatham-Kent Hospice on October 2, 2019 at the age of 74.
He will be missed and remembered always by his children Kelly, John, Jillian (Larry) and his grandchildren Adam, Owen, Lucas and Madison. Son of the late Carl and Melba Roe and survived by his brother Gary (Judy) as well as extended family and friends. Howie loved sports and played with many baseball teams during his younger years, he dedicated his life to farming right up until his retirement when he was 70. His family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff and volunteers at hospice for your care and compassion.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-354-2585) and a private family ceremony will take place at a later date. If you so desire, donations in his memory to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
