Enbridge Gas recently presented the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation with a $20,000 donation to support, Hospice volunteer network initiatives. This donation from Enbridge Gas continues the support that Union Gas initiated when the hospice opened its doors in 2016.

“At Enbridge Gas, we believe a community belongs to everyone who lives there and we strive to make life better for our families, our friends, and our neighbours,” said Jim Redford, VP of Energy Services at Enbridge Gas. “We’re proud to support the important work that the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation does to help support this community.”

“Volunteers are important members of our hospice care team and are imperative to providing services offered to local families. All of our volunteers are provided with specialized training, as well as ongoing support so they can provide the best possible end-of-life care to our hospice families. We are very grateful to Enbridge Gas for continuing this funding.

The grant will be used to support our 200 active volunteers who fill a variety of roles, as well as recruit new hospice volunteers,” shared Melanie Watson – Volunteer Coordinator, Chatham-Kent Hospice.
