Industrial accident

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Late yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to an industrial accident at a farm on Communication Road in Blenheim.

A 28-year-old Harwich Township man fell from a ladder while working.

He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.

The Ministry of Labour were contacted and have taken over the investigation.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police located a man wanted for domestic related offences and failing to attend court.

The 29-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and released pending a future court date on December 3, 2019.

Man charged with criminal harassment

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to an attempt break and enter at an apartment in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that the man was attempting to speak with his ex-boyfriend, even though he had already been cautioned by the homeowner and police to stop trying to speak with him.

The 28-year-old Tecumseh man was arrested and charged with criminal harassment.

He was released pending a future court date of December 3, 2019.

Man charged with failing to comply

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 9, 2019 the man was released from custody with several conditions.

One of those conditions stated that he was to obey a daily curfew of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Last night, around 11:30 p.m. an officer on general patrol observed the man walking on Murray Street in Chatham.

The 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with failing to comply.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
