The Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame has made a donation to a local baseball player.
Gus Lalonde, a member of the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame committee, recently handed a cheque for $1,500 to Connor Ruttan.
Connor plays for the U15 Great Lakes Canadian baseball team in London, Sports Hall officials said on social media.
“The donation will help cover costs for registration, travel, tournament costs and training camp,” Sports Hall officials said.
“The WSHF wishes Connor all the best in his pursuit of his baseball goals.”
