Michael John Bradley Blackburn of Mitchell’s Bay passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the age of 40.
Michael is the beloved son of Diane & Brad Blackburn. Dear brother of Stephanie Blackburn and grandson of Jim & Nancy Blackburn & Gertrude Coveny. Loved by his aunts & uncles Kerry & Greg Stone, Tim Coveny & Deb VanCoillie, Christine & Wally Romansky, Patti & Brad Armstrong, Beth Blackburn & Cathy Moore and Barb & Todd Holmes. Predeceased by his grandfather John Coveny and his brother-in-law Kevin Fields.
Michael had previously worked as a quality engineer for Leer and was most recently in the pipeline inspection field for Enbridge. Michael was a passionate sports fan, supporting the Raptors or anything Detroit. He loved to play baseball, winning 3 OBA championships, basketball and was currently a fishing fanatic.
A private family funeral will be held at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. A public celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date.
