Doris Vonn Burns, a resident of Chatham and formerly of Dresden, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at at the age of 98.
Born in Camden Township, the daughter of the late Jack and Rose Wills. Beloved wife of the late Graydon Burns (2004). Loving mother of Sharen Kaufman (the late Dennis), Shirley Veenendaal, Gary Burns, Kevin Burns (Jackie) and the late Ken Burns (Margo). Cherished grandma of Robert Burns (Michelle), Aaron Butler (Laura), Kate Plumb, Cameron Plumb, Kim Grondin (Daren), Lori Kaufman and Julie Skodak (Thomas). Proud great grandma of Devon, Chloe, Dylan, Devin, Jesse, Amy and Sara. Dear sister of Pauline Wright (Paul). Predeceased by 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
The Burns family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12 noon. Interment in Dresden Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made by cheque to Zion United Church, Tupperville or charity of your choice.
