Wallaceburg Minor Hockey captures three tournament victories

A lot of gold was imported into Wallaceburg this weekend, thanks to the Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association.

Three Wallaceburg teams captured tournament victories this past weekend.

The Midget ‘BB’ girls were crowned the 2020 International Silver Stick Champions on the weekend.

“A thrilling 4-3 win in the finals over Lower Lakes Division rivals South Huron,” Wallaceburg Hockey officials said.

The Atom Rep Lakers captured gold at the 2020 Peterborough Liftlock Tournament.

“The Lakers took the championship with a thrilling overtime win after scoring late with the extra attacker in regulation,” Wallaceburg Hockey officials said.

And finally the Atom FC 2 squad beat Port Dover 1-0 in the final to win the Langton Tournament.

“Congratulations to these teams for representing Wallaceburg, WMHA, and our communities,” Wallaceburg Hockey officials said on social media.
