Police: B&E, theft, mischief, weapons dangerous

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter on Chatham Street North in Blenheim.

Unknown persons cut the lock to a secure garage door and entered the building.

It is unknown at this time what was taken.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Mischief and theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to Park Street in Chatham for a mischief and theft complaint.

Unknown persons cut locks off of a container on the property which contained several automobile tires.

An unknown quantity of tires were taken.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Mischief and theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a residence on Park Avenue West in Chatham for a mischief and theft complaint.

Unknown persons cut locks to the gate on the property and took a utility trailer.

The utility trailer was later located a short distance away.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol in Ridgetown located a female on Victoria Street.

The female was identified and found to be failing to comply with her release order.

The 24-year-old female was arrested, transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male at the Super 8 Motel.

The male was identified and found to be failing to comply with his release order.

The 62-year-old male was arrested, transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Male arrested for weapons dangerous

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening police responded to a business on King Street West in Chatham as it was being reported that a male party had pulled a knife on an employee and had fled the area.

The 28-year-old male was located and arrested.

The male was transported to police headquarters and held for bail.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male on James Street.

The male was known to have a warrant for fail to attend and mischief under $5,000.

The 27-year-old male was arrested, transported to police headquarters and held for bail.

Liquor Licence Act

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police responded to the area of Fourth Street in Chatham for a disturbance.

Through investigation a female and male were found to be intoxicated.

The 23-year-old female and the 20-year-old male were arrested.

Both parties were transported to police headquarters where they were held until sober.
