Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Friday morning an officer on general patrol in the area of James Street in Wallaceburg located a male who was known to be wanted for theft and possession under $5000.

The 29-year-old male was arrested, transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Liquor Licence Act

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Friday afternoon police responded to an unwanted persons call in the area of Centre Street in Chatham and the male involved was found to be intoxicated.

Through investigation it was determined that the male could not care for himself and was arrested.

The 71-year-old male was transported to police headquarters and was held until sober.

Female arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Friday afternoon an officer on general patrol in the area of Murray Street in Chatham located a female who was known to be wanted for possession and fraudulent use of a credit card.

The 26-year-old female was arrested, transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Friday night an officer on general patrol in Chatham conducted a traffic stop on Raleigh Street and found a male in the vehicle who was known to have a warrant for fail to attend, theft and possession.

The 34-year-old male was arrested, transported to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early Saturday morning an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male walking in the area of McNaughton Avenue.

The male was known to have a warrant for fail to attend and mischief.

The 27-year-old male was arrested, transported to police headquarters and held for bail.
