Police: B&E & theft of vehicle, warrant

Theft of motor vehicle and breaking and entering

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 8, 2020 at approximately 4 a.m. a resident on Charing Cross Road in Chatham woke to her vehicle being driven from her property.

Shortly after this occurrence a suspicious vehicle complaint was made in Chatham.

Officers attended and located the recently stolen vehicle.

A 35-year-old man was observed in possession of the vehicle and arrested.

The man was in possession of property believed to be stolen.

If your vehicle was entered in the vicinity of Charing Cross Road during the early morning hours of March 8, please contact the Chatham-Kent Police and report any property that has been stolen.

Man arrested on warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 7, 2020 a 29-year-old man was located in Windsor trespassing on CP Rail property.

The man was arrested and found to have outstanding warrants with the Chatham-Kent Police for failing to attend court and breaching probation.

The man was held pending a bail hearing.
