11th positive COVID-19 case confirmed in Chatham-Kent

A woman in her 60s from Chatham-Kent is currently in hospital, after testing positive for COVID-19.

CK Public Health officials say the cause of transmission, whether it be through travel, close contact or community spread, is still pending.

The case, which was announced on Friday, April 3, 2020, is the 11th confirmed positive case in Chatham-Kent.

A total of 322 COVID-19 tests have been administered in Chatham-Kent so far, with 87 tests still pending.

There have been no COVID-19 deaths in Chatham-Kent.

Across Ontario, there are 3,255 confirmed positive cases and 67 deaths.
