Pursuit, break and enter, impaired driving in Morpeth
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 12, 2020 while on routine patrol police observed an abandoned vehicle on Talbot Trail with
plates attached that were unauthorized.
A short time later two occupants entered the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated resulting in the vehicle failing to stop.
The occupants were also involved in a break and enter.
After a short pursuit the vehicle was stopped without incident.
A 23-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and charged with break, enter and theft, possession under $5,000, possession of break-in instruments.
A 26-year-old Thamesville man was arrested and charged with break, enter and theft, possession under $5,000, possession of break-in instrument, flight from police, dangerous driving, impaired driving and 80 plus.
Both were later and released with a future court date.
Stolen motor vehicle in Tupperville
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 12, 2020 between midnight and 9:30 a.m. unknown suspects stole a 2013 Black/Brown Ford
F150 King Ranch with over size tires and rim.
The vehicle was bearing Ontario marker #AN 36882 when it was stolen
If the vehicle is observed, contact police with the location and direction of travel.

Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded to a break and enter on Park Ave East in Chatham on Saturday just shortly before 10 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a building which is under construction and removed numerous power tools and wire.

Man charged with mischief and theft
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded to a call for service on Charing Cross road on Saturday shortly after 11 a.m.
After investigation it was determined that unknown suspects entered a fenced in compound through a hole that they had caused in the fence line.
Approximately $1,500 in power tools were stolen.

Traffic stop leads to drug charge
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. police received information regarding a suspicious vehicle parked near Queen Street.
Following a traffic stop and investigations an occupant in the vehicle was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
The occupant was arrested and charged accordingly.
Collision leads to charges
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday night officers responded to a motor vehicle collision near John Street where a vehicle had collided with a parked car.
After investigation the accused was administered a roadside test and registered a warn leading to a 3-day licence suspension.
